Ideal stopover cottage for lovers of hiking and wide open spaces in Sansa.

The Gite des Garrotxes is an atypical place where time has stopped and where nature imposes its rhythm, slow and calm. At the gite, Paul offers you two types of accommodation: a bed in the dormitory of the gite or the apartment. At the table, as in a real mountain inn, you will be served swords meats from local producers. For hiking, you are in the regional natural park of the Catalan Pyrenees, follow the advice of your hosts to plan your walks. Advice, come at the end of the summer to assist to the bellowing of the stag!

Opening time and information on GITE DES GARROTXES

Overnight at the gite d'étape (dormitory): 22€, half board: 45€, evening meal: 22€, breakfast: 7€, picnic basket: 12€. Apartment: from 60 to 75€ per night. From 350 to 550€ per week depending on the number of people (sheets provided). Free Wifi. Excursions (snowshoeing and hiking on reservation).

Sansa, village de caractère ou tout est fait pour se ressourcer. Accueil à la table d'hôte chaleureux et très sympathique. De l'apéritif au dessert tout est succulent. Nous avons dégusté des grillades Catalanes cuite au feu de bois en terrasse. Les responsables du gîte sont charmants et n'hésitent pas à discuter avec les convives. Merci au personnel de l'Office de tourisme de Formigueres de nous avoir indiqué cette bonne adresse. A refaire avec beaucoup de plaisir.

Avis aux amoureux de la nature et de la bonne chair, vous êtes au bon endroit pour manger et/ou dormir, boire un verre... Bref, comme à la maison mais avec une hôtesse et un hôte chaleureux et aux petits soins pour leurs visiteurs. La table est excellente de par la qualité des produits et les compétences du chef. Pensez à réserver, mais si ce n'est fait, il y aura toujours une place pour vous.
