Museum installed in a beautiful farmhouse of the century, a real living place with its ethnological collection with pieces

Housed in a beautiful 18th century farmhouse, the Cerdanya museum is not a museum like any other. It tells the visitor the great and the small history, the gestures and the words of the men and women who for 300 years have given life to this place and to Cerdanya. It is a real living place with its ethnological collection of 20,000 items, which is displayed in temporary or permanent exhibitions, and its instructive vegetable garden. We are particularly fond of the very educational children's workshops, which will also delight parents.

Opening time and information on THE MUSEUM OF CERDANYA

From October to April: open Monday to Friday from 14 to 5pm. In May, June and September: Monday to Saturday from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 5.30pm. In July and August: every day from 10am to 12.30pm and from 2pm to 6.30pm. + school holidays. Rates: €4.50. Reduced and groups: €3.50. From 7 to 18 years old children: €2.50. Free for under 7-year-olds.

Vous nous manquez.

J'ai voulu revoir le musée cet hiver après mon retour d'Andorre, mais hélas le COVID est passé par là et j'ai trouvé porte close. Mais je ne regrette pas ce détour, le village est splendide en hiver. Revenez vite, vous nous manquez.

A ne pas manquer !

Entre expositions permanentes et temporaires, dans un cadre sublime, venez découvrir la vie des hommes et des femmes de Cerdagne. Une équipe passionnante vous expliquera la vie de cette ferme du XVIIIe, devenue musée. Traditions populaires, arts, culture, vous découvrirez la richesse de ce pays. Sans oublier le jardin potager, endroit poétique et pur, où l'on apprend beaucoup de choses, le plus écologiquement et le plus simplement. Bravo !
