On the southern foothills of the Canigó massif, in the heart of 20 hectares of woods and meadows, Marie-Hélène and Gilles welcome you to their 17th century Catalan farmhouse, which has been carefully restored, preserving the traditional volumes and architecture. What we like about the Vieux Mas is that from the outset, we feel that we are in the middle of nature, at an altitude of almost 800 m, where Mediterranean and mountain influences meet, halfway between Saint-Marsal and La Bastide. It's lost, it's true, but God, it's beautiful and relaxing!

Pour une première expérience dans des chambres d'hôtes, nous avons adoré. Les propriétaires sont des gens adorables. Marie-Hélène est une hôte et une cuisinière hors pair avec Gilles ils sont complémentaires. Le mas est situé dans un endroit magnifique, la rénovation a été effectuée par leurs soins dans la tradition catalane. Un endroit que nous vous conseillons absolument !!!

Accueil très sympa.
Les propriétaires sont accueillant.
Et surtout un coin du Roussillon au pied du Canigou, très dépaysant.
On monte sur un chemin très cabossé au début mais très praticable.

Endroit dépaysant, sur les contreforts du Canigou, dans la forêt. Propriétaires sympas , accueillants . Petit bémol : le chemin menant au mas est très cabossé, des crevasses importantes au milieu des cailloux....il faut une voiture haute, genre 4× 4 pour l' emprunter... sinon, risque d' endommager pneus ou amortisseurs.
