Seasonal cuisine in a brasserie with terrace in Perpignan

The historical framework of the Seaside Box, the woodwork, the high ceilings of the time, the benches of Catalan colours, and the terrace on one of the most emblematic pedestrian streets of Perpignan are assets to take a drink or to recover. On the "brasserie" map, everyone will find what to satisfy their desire of the moment. Varied tapas at the time of the aperitif; carpaccio of salmon or steak; prepared dishes that evolve according to the season; and an original pizza card: " Catalan "marries the sausage, black boudin, bacon bacon, onions, mozzarella and a tomato grout. New! in winter, every Tuesday it is a pot of fire and a slate menu is now proposed every day, with more refined suggestions such as entrée gras and jacques or beef jelly in main Flat. Restaurant bien situé certes, mais terrible désillusion au niveau du serveur, que ce soit au niveau du choix de la table avec un serveur peu aimable, et surtout sans oublier, un serveur qui préfère regarder passer les clients que prendre les suppléments demandées par plusieurs personnes de la table (sauce + bouteille d’eau)

J’ai pris le hamburger qui était bon malgré un pain aussi sec qu’un parpaing de maçonnerie.

Je vous déconseille réellement de vous arrêter dans cet établissement.

The setting is very beautiful façade is authentic and very old, so at first glance it is a restaurant that attracts, however the cuisine is very average and it is a little expensive for the quality of the dishes. The service is very long: it is then a place that I will not mind and who am not worth a visit, there are small restaurants more simple and authentic in the region.

It is true that the setting is exceptional. But for the rest I find that the quality of the dishes is average (tapas, for example, are average). The service, there is really an atmosphere brasserie with due to a quick enough turn-over tables. But the whole is relatively acceptable.
