If you ask a Catalan where Le Grand Café de la Poste is located, he'll tell you: "Behind the Castillet It's fair to say it's seen a lot since 1952! But since 2022, there's been a change of direction. Maeva and Cyril have now taken over the business. Still a cosy spot for a cocktail or coffee in the deep club armchairs, or in the shade of the parasols on a hot summer's day... Nous avons commandé vers 18h30 un Spritz , un Morito et... des cacahuètes ou des olives. Réponse du serveur " on en a plus les pigeons ont tout mangé " nous lui répondons " ce n'est pas la premiere fois" il nous répond " Mais alors pourquoi vous revenez "
Je m'adresse au serveur . J'habite Perpignan depuis plus de 50 ans et j'ai l'habitude de venir ici régulièrement. Mon mari dès l'âge de 16 ans jouait au billard au premier étage.
Ce lieu mytique reste à mes yeux l'un des plus beaux cafés de Perpignan.. et le reste toujours !
