Next door to the Saint-Jean cathedral, Frédéric Marchand prepares gastronomic dishes with an Asian flavour. His instinctive and passionate locavore cuisine conceals treasures of know-how. Like a painter, he imagines, visualizes and creates his dishes. The flavors are carefully preserved with subtle harmonies of aromas. The fish, his specialty, chosen at the morning auction, accompanies the seasonal products. There is no menu, just a lunch menu that changes every day and a choice on the slate in the evening. The choice of local wines is very judicious.

Toutes les denrées sont fraîches et assaisonnées judicieusement pour sublimer le produit d'origine. Le menu unique permet une préparation appliquée. Restau de poisson. Le menu peut être accomodé. Le service est professionnel et les serveuses sont attentionnes et rigoureuses. Le service est fluide et s'enchaîne tranquilement et sans attente entre les plats. Les décors sont discrets mais pas mis en valeur. Dommage car les structures murales de poissons sont belles. A recommander.

Une implantation idéale à proximité immédiate de la cathédrale saint Jean-Baptiste ; un menu du déjeuner à 30 euros avec entrée + plat + dessert ; une excellente adresse en terres catalanes !

Excellent experience all around for lunch. A waiter and a co-owner brought over the chalkboard menu of the day which offered just 2 options: 3 courses (30 euro) or 2 courses (25 euro), but otherwise everything was set. The choice was dessert or no dessert. The soup, main course, and dessert were out of this world. The wine selection was thoughtful and just right.
It deserves every amount of praise it gets and then some!
