Ceramics made the reputation of Sant Vicens. Firmin Bauby set up a workshop there in 1942 to receive artists. The visit is worthwhile, because if we are still here in Perpignan, we feel as if we were thousand miles away from the center, in an estate preserved in nature. Today, Claire Bauby welcomes you in this farmhouse which she has managed to bring out. You can visit the hundred-year-old cellar where artists from Roussillon exhibit their ceramics, unique pieces that mix with tapestries of Lurçat. In the vaulted rooms of the farm, antiques, old and design art objects that Claire carefully hunts for. Trinkets, crockery, lamps and furniture mix there and are staged with much taste. You will find gift ideas at low prices (in Sia or notably Côté Table brand). At Christmas, go there with family to see the crib and the colorful figurines created by the workshops of Sant Vicens and in summer, sculpture workshops are organized.
