CHÂTEAU DE L'OU
This is a very beautiful wine estate, run since 1998 by Séverine and Philippe, its name, "l'OU" in Catalan, is the translation of the egg. This name comes from a resurgence of water coming out of the ground that has the shape of an egg. All the cultivation and vinification are done organically under the expert eye of Séverine. When she tells you about her wine, she talks about it with such love that you crack. She raises her wines like her children, with all the patience of a "mother hen" (the name of the OU takes all its meaning here...). The result? Exceptional wines, many times rewarded by the greatest guides, with successful, fresh, structured or more delicate blends without too much wood so as not to distort the grape varieties. A great success that can be tasted in the new cellar, which alone is worth a visit. The children are not forgotten, an olfactory path is proposed to them in order to discover the aromas, they love it! The estate also has a superb room (equipped with high-tech equipment) dedicated to seminars, EC meals or conferences. Finally, we cannot forget to tell you about the wine tourism tours, the winegrower's evenings and the famous Jeudis de l'Ou, which animate the estate all summer long. An exceptional place run by exceptional owners.
