The Mediterranean Polar and Adventure Festival, born in 2016 from the partnership between the town of Le Barcarès and the Mediterranean Centre for Literature, is a literary crossroads between detective and fantasy literature, whether Polar, Thriller, Fantasy, Science-Fiction or Adventure Novel. In the prestigious setting of the Paquebot des Sables, some forty authors present their works through dedications, round tables, meetings and conferences. A great moment of literature, but also the discovery of leisure activities based on the fashions of the imagination, such as board games or role-playing games. The festival also offers exhibitions and events, including the traditional evening of inquiry on board the Lydia.
