For over 20 years, in late May and early June, Céret, "the cherry capital", has been celebrating its emblematic fruit. For 2 days, the town is alive with merriment, with a large cherry market on the boulevards, bandas playing to the rhythm of the festival, and a host of events: castellers, pitting competitions, stone-spitting competitions, merry-go-rounds for children, open-air meals... and above all, Céret restaurateurs offering cherry menus from starter to dessert - a real treat!

Des la mi avril, il y a la fête de la cerise sur 2 jours, il y a plusieurs producteurs de cerises qui viennent et plusieurs animations catalane. C'est un très bon week end pour faire la fête et découvrir la région :)
