The place is intimate and very warm, the refined setting of the common areas is made of beautiful furniture and high ceilings from another time. The rooms are simple and pleasant. The old-fashioned atmosphere of the place is very relaxing. The restaurant del Bisbe welcomes you to enjoy traditional Catalan-inspired cuisine on the beautiful terrace shaded by a trellis.

Un hôtel d'amoureux des arts en plein centre de Céret: des objets chinés, des affiches anciennes, des tableaux, des gravures, dans cette belle ancienne demeure d'évêque. De plus, un accueil très sympathique et PAS de télé mais de la musique classique pour accompagner votre repas, bon et raffiné...

Et si vous pouvez faire l'effort de payer la suite (en fait c'est tout à fait abordable en basse saison, j'ai payé 125€/nuit) la suite est tellement belle, avec deux chambres, une rumeur disait que Picasso aurait séjourné dans cette suite….
Toutes les peintures sur les murs de l'hôtel représentent Picasso, sauf dans le restaurant, certaines sont signées par le chef cuisinier qui est aussi un grand peintre très connu dans la région.
De la fenêtre de la suite, vous avez la vue sur la terrasse du Café Picasso, où Picasso venait prendre son café et boire un verre avec les villageois.

All the paintings on the hotel walls are about Picasso, except in the restaurant, some are signed by the chef cook who is also a great painter very well know in the areas.
From the window of the suite room, you have the view on the terrace of Picasso Cafe, where Picasso came having his coffee and some drink with the villageois.

Hôtel plein de charme, un tantinet vieillot mais propre et pimpant, idéalement placé. Propriétaires prévenants et agréables. Très bonne table.
