Bistrot de Pays offering Catalan-inspired cuisine.
L'Olivier is a local bistro located in the village square of Catllar (pronounced canar) since 5 years. A beautiful challenge taken up by a beautiful team in a small village away from the main roads (the RN116, the ski route). The cuisine is simple and generous and gives pride of place to the Mediterranean with its tapas and Catalan-inspired dishes. As in all good small village restaurants, the products come from local or organic agriculture. And then, on this superb terrace which modestly invades the village square, near the olive tree and the fountain, quite simply, one feels good there.

Bon petit restaurant, niveau prix le menu le plus haut était à 19.90 (entré, plat, dessert) dommage que le plat "magret de canard" était pas en entier mais découpé en 5 morceaux par contre la sauce aux cèpes très bonne , service un peu long mais correct. Un groupe de musique le "TAES" avec de très jolie chanson nous a accompagnés durant le repas.

Je ne sais toujours pas pourquoi vendredi 4 août à 13 h la porte était close ... Dommage qu'on ait fait le détour !
