On the outskirts of Angoustrine in the direction of Font Romeu, Cal Xandera is a little gem of old stone: an ^18th-century Cerdane farmhouse superbly restored with taste and love. Within its walls is a large garden with a shady terrace where you can spend summer evenings gazing up at the stars. The restaurant and 4 bedrooms combine comfort, modernity and ecological materials (wood, stone, slate, lime). A beautiful family suite allows all guests to stay together. Hearty, fresh, homemade breakfast.

Open all year round. Reservation recommended. Out of season closed on Sunday evening, Monday and Tuesday all day long. In season closed on Sunday evenings and Mondays. Double room. Breakfast included. Breakfast included and served in your room. 2 double rooms from 95 to 105€, 1 family suite (sleeps 4) at 110€, 1 suite with garden, wood stove... at 140€. Free wifi. Rarement trouvé un couple de gérant aussi commerçant !

Tout était parfait : les chambres ,le petit-déjeuner ainsi que le dîner avec beaucoup de bienveillance et de discrétion…
Une auberge /hôtel avec un rapport qualité prix exceptionnel,tout comme l’accueil et les conseils de randonnée /de visites lors de notre séjour en famille .

We had a wonderful stay at Cal Xandera as an in-between stop during our hiking trip. Despite our booking being last-minute, the accomodation was splendid. The interior of the place was very charming. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The host is very friendly. Price-quality ratio was favorable. If I could give 6 stars out of 5, I would.
