To make her soaps, christened Apimousse, Christelle Gonella has put aside all silicone and paraben. This neo-agriculturalist and craftswoman mixes oils, fats and butters, often organic, with soda ash, always cold-processed. This ancient, traditional method enables her to produce surgras soaps rich in glycerine, and generous in honey and beeswax from the farm's own bees. The "Cévennes" version is made with organic olive oil, coconut and shea butter, plus a dash of chestnut honey.
