Good quality gîte d'étape located in a farm.

Ideally located on the way, 3 km from Saint-Alban-sur-Limagnole, this gîte d'étape run by the Pic family welcomes us to the hamlet of Rouget in a good quality gîte located on a dairy farm where they work organically. The rooms - either as a gîte d'étape or as a chambre d'hôtes - are all pleasant, offering a good level of comfort. The calm of the countryside and the pleasure of tasting authentic local products - local charcuterie, vegetables from the garden, local cheeses... - made on site or in the region.

Accueil professionnel par la propriétaire. Les chambres sont rénovées, spacieuses et fonctionnelles. Repas du soir fait maison, simple et bon. Petit déjeuner plus que limite par contre. Baguette de la veille, jus d'orange entamé, pot de pâte à tartiner laissé vide et reste de beurre à partager en 6, (pas même 10gr/pers). La confiture n'a pas compensé. Nous avons appelé la propriétaire (à la ferme, à 700 m) pour lui signaler que nous n'aurions pas assez, elle a répondu qu'elle n'avait pas le temps … Une vraie déception, et surtout rien à voir avec les gites fréquentés sur le chemin.

very well located, this cottage welcomes us in a working farm, very good value for money. very welcoming and very friendly owner can very receive his hikers I strongly recommend this cottage
