Virginia de la Pena, who came from the Canary Islands, has settled in Mende to pursue her activity as a "grandmother"! In a small structure, which she calls her "non sugar lab", this Spanish woman with overflowing creativity produces jams, in which only the fruits have their entry ticket. To succeed in this feat without sugar or syrup, Virginia de la Pena patiently waits for her native land to deliver her the best products picked at the right time: bananas, mangos, prickly pears, citrus fruits, avocados... This is followed by a unique know-how to blend and simmer these exceptional ingredients for their beauty, taste or organoleptic qualities. Madre e hija thus puts into pot both gourmet and visual combinations because even the packaging is hot. The company has already delivered some colourful and tasty recipes: banana-figures of barbarity - the very first! - but also banana-mint, banana-rosemary, apple-cocoa bean or apple-coffee can be eaten as bread, on a pancake, with cottage cheese, meat, fish...
