Museum in Peyre en Aubrac, housing objects from everyday life and offering archaeology awareness programs.
Since the beginning of excavations in the 19th century, Javols has continued to discover the remains of its Gallo-Roman past. The museum houses artefacts from daily life, and offers regular events and workshops for younger visitors, as well as archaeological awareness campaigns. The 40-hectare site can be visited on an outdoor trail, signposted to show where the remains have been reburied for protection purposes.
