Comfortable lodge on the Stevenson trail welcoming hikers, bikers and tourists

This large house on the Stevenson trail has been renovated by a nice couple. Virginie and Frédéric have transformed it into a warm and comfortable house in which they welcome hikers, bikers and tourists of all kinds. When they arrive, the beds are ready, and the guests can enjoy the living room, equipped with a beautiful fireplace and several games: billiards, darts, library... At the table, they share the family meals, and friendly dishes prepared with local products.

Malgré des chambres très propres et des espaces agréables, ce sera mon pire gîte sur le chemin de Stevenson à cause de manque de quantité au repas. Étant obligé de prendre la demi.pension, on ne peut pas ainsi proposer un repas sans aucun rab de riz (ce soir là). Sans fromage !!! Sans vin évidemment. La moindre boisson en plus se paient cher. Les proportions ne sont pas adaptées à de vrais marcheurs, surtout dans le froid. J'avais faim en sortant de table. Au petit dej c'était mieux,mais idem la seule fois où je ne verrai pas de fruit frais... pour 55 euros, c'est clairement abusé.
Bon, c'est le Gevaudan... Stevenson le disait déjà : avant le Mt Lozère, l'hospitalité ce n'est pas ça!

Très bonne soirée passée hier soir au gîte, les hôtes sont très sympathiques et les espaces communs propices aux échanges. Les repas étaient également excellents. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Je recommande vivement. Le couple qui gère le gîte est très sympa. Le lieu au calme est charmant. Le dîner et le petit déjeuner était excellent. J’en ai profité pour terminer l’écriture de mon livre C’est quoi le bonheur pour vous? En quête de sens.
