Clay-limestone soils for the whites, red marl for the reds, and in the middle: a 12th century Romanesque abbey. The 75 ha of vines are cultivated on an ancestral land, already the Cistercian monks produced wine there. A visit to the abbey is a must, especially as it is followed by a wine tasting in the cellar. Diane d'Allaines and her son Philippe have inherited a winegrowing tradition but have also modernised the whole estate, whose wines are highly regarded in competitions.

Déçue par la qualité de l accueil. Le prix d entrée sans guide étant assez élevé nous nous attendions à une dégustation de vin de qualité. Le caviste nous a quasiment ignoré, nous avons juste pu goûter 1 seul vin dans le même verre (nous étions en couple) alors que la personne a côté de nous a bénéficié d une dégustation complète et expliquaient de plusieurs crus. Nous sommes un couple de 60 ans tout ce qu il y de classique.

Nice place to visit, (€10,50 adult) after the tour you can have a taste of their wines and buy a bottle or two if you wish.

Une abbaye avec quelques dépendances, qui produit son propre vin.
A faire avec les enfants pour un jeu d'énigmes sur le domaine (parfois compliqué).
