THE BRIDGE OF LOVE

Also inscribed in the inventory of Historic Monuments, this bridge is actually an aqueduct that allowed water from the basin on the hill above Villeneuvette to go to the factories, below. Legend wants couples to pass together on this bridge, hand in hand, kiss in the center of the bridge and cross it. If they did, it was the marriage guaranteed in the year. If the bride could not cross the bridge, the marriage was compromised. It must be said that the bridge is narrow and there was water flowing there.
