CHATEAU LA SAUVAGEONNE
The terroir of Saint-Jean-de-la-Blaquière on schist slopes dominates the Hérault valley. It is one of the most interesting in Languedoc. We like the cuvée les Ruffes, Terrasse du Larzac, an intense ruby red, powerful and intense nose; in the mouth, mellow aromas, a little floral, a beautiful balance and a beautiful substance. Always on the lookout for the organic trend in the world of viticulture, Château la Sauvageonne, owned by Gérard Bertrand, has been biodynamically grown since 2012 and its wines have been Demeter certified since 2015.
