Temple founded in 1992 and built in the traditional style, housing a 7 m high Buddha statue and collections
Founded in 1992 by Sogyal Rinpoche, the Lerab Ling community saw its temple inaugurated in 2008 by the Dalai Lama. Located on the Escandorgue plateau, it was built in the traditional style inspired by the most beautiful temples of the Himalayas and houses a 7-metre high statue of Buddha as well as a collection of paintings, statues and relics. The shimmering decoration has been created by artists and craftsmen from the Tibetan communities. An unusual and inspiring visit.
