PRIEURÉ SAINT ANDRÉ

Local producer

It was while tasting the nearby Cuvée du Patron that we discovered this winemaker, who raises reds, rosés and whites in the heart of the Saint-Chinian appellation's schists, both bottled and in bulk. We liked the Andréus cuvée, a fine blend of Mourvèdre, Syrah and Carignan. It's a generous, full-bodied wine with aromas of ripe fruit. The property stretches along the banks of the Orb, on the lands of the former 12th-century priory of Saint-André-de-Vexos. Vines were first cultivated here in 1850. A great address!
