This medieval village steeped in history is nicknamed the Little Nice of the Hérault. Benefiting from a microclimate that allows it not only to grow vines, but also mimosa, citrus and olive trees, it offers a gateway to the Haut-Languedoc Regional Park. It climbs up the mountainside from the banks of the Orb, shared by the old 17th-century mills and the beach, to the ruins of the old village and the 12th-century Carolingian tower, at the foot of which the garden is set. The climb takes you past a sober, partly Romanesque church; from the square, the panorama opens wide over the Orb valley.
