Founded in 2007 by Sylvia Sass, Claude Alberge and Patrick Delbac, the Pézenas Enchantée association has the ambition to make Lyric Art accessible to the greatest number of people. This will is reflected in the organization of a captivating festival, it celebrates its 14th edition in 2020. It covers several dates and revolves around a variety of concerts, operas and operettas, punctuated by beautiful melodies from sacred and world music. The festival is built around a Master Class, symbolising its desire for excellence. It begins with a performance and ends with a restitution concert, proof of the work accomplished. At the same time, the event hosts the Triumphs of the Lyric, an event linked to the National Lyric Song Competition in Béziers, two musical films (in partnership with the Jean Renoir Cine-Club and the Le Molière Cinema), three free Apér'Opéras and a private concert for the residents of the Pézenas hospital. An exhibition of photographs, a retrospective of previous festivals, completes the programme.
