Museum telling the history of Palavas and presenting maps, projections, objects of all kinds and paintings.
This atypical museum relates the history of Palavas, or rather of the "Ballestras huts", the name given to the place until the 1960s. Cartographies, projections, objects of all kinds and an interactive educational room emphasize this singular spirit. Through the major canvases of Jean-Aristide Rudel and his son Jean, a painter from Montpellier at the beginning of the 20th century, the museum is adorned with colour, letting the light of Languedoc be discovered in his paintings.
