THE FIG TREE ARBORETUM AND THE MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN

One of the great specialities of Nézignan-l'Évêque is the fig, and the inhabitants of the village are nicknamed the becos figos (fig-eaters in Occitan). In total, the arboretum of the fig tree gathers more than 80 species, highlighting all the richness of the fruit. Not far from there, the botanical garden presents local flora on nearly 8,000 m² and brings together more than 150 species, which allows you to discover the Mediterranean flora while walking.
