The number of SOS Doctors is one of the essential ones. At the national level, the federation brings together more than a thousand doctors and acts throughout the year. Member doctors thus ensure a 24-hour quality care service. Associated with the SAMU, they try to respond in the most appropriate way to the various medical problems encountered. While the organisation does most of its work from home, there are also fixed consultation points such as the one on Avenue de Palavas. Opened in April 2017, this establishment follows the same schedules as the permanent care centre. It is made up of ten private doctors who are qualified to meet the demand.
