Former church that became rock temple in the 1980s, Rockstore is a monument of Montpellier nightlife, with a red Cadillac embedded in the façade as a distinctive feature. In 2013, bought by the town hall, it was closed for 9 months of renovation - to the dismay of night owls. On the programme: insulation work and compliance. More than a concert hall, the place is also a disco on two levels, with a capacity of 850 people and very central since near La Comédie - often free entrance - and the meeting point of the revelers at the closure of the bars.
