Restaurant offering a modern seasonal cuisine
A veritable institution in the heart of the city, 1789 is a culinary revolution. The restaurant seduces gourmets with its three distinct spaces: the sheltered terrace, the main dining room and the basement lounge bar. Gourmets particularly appreciate dining under the house's beautiful vaulted ceilings, so typical of the Écusson district. Above all, they're delighted to discover modern, seasonal cuisine orchestrated by Chef Nicolas. His recipes focus on local ingredients, and are available with or without truffles, the house specialty. Truffles can be served raw, cooked, in mousse, cream, juice or purée, to your great delight.

Menu spécial truffe blanche d’Alba du chef étoilé Benjamin Bruno et du chef du 1789. Entre alchimistes et magiciens, les chefs nous ont révélé leur extraordinaire potentiel de créativité gastronomique. Le narratif : une promenade dans un sous-bois parfumé de truffes blanches, champignons et châtaignes. Lors de la dégustation de chaque plat, j’ai été transportée dans un espace mystérieux mêlé de passion et d’amour. Merci du fond du cœur pour cet émerveillement des papilles. Merci aussi de l’accueil chaleureux et attentif de la direction et de l’équipe du 1789.
La décoration est magnifique, tout est cosy.
Le personnel est très sympathique.
Le repas fut délicieux.
