Opened on 18 July 2020, Zapie is located in the heart of the Ecusson. The first Montpellier address devoted to Polish street food, it specialises in zapiekanka, a speciality that resembles a large slice of bread and is made up of an open loaf of bread topped with mushrooms sautéed in butter, onion and Gouda cheese. Depending on preference, different elements are added to this gourmet base. Among the most popular recipes are Polka (smoked sausage, Polish gherkins) and Chorizo (chorizo, fried onions, sweet Zapie).
