The Château de Coussergues has been owned by the Sarret de Coussergues family since 1495. The estate covers 600 hectares, 100 of which are planted with vines. The rest of the land is planted with olive trees, woods and fields. Looking to the future, the owners have decided to obtain the high environmental value certification. All the wines are in appellation IGP vins-de-pays-d'oc, and AOP coteaux-du-languedoc. Nearly 600 olive trees of the "cailletier" variety produce between 1,500 and 2,000 liters of a fruity and fiery oil every year.
