LES VIGNOBLES DE MONTAGNAC
Between the fruits of the earth and the fruits of the stone, the vineyards of Montagnac offer wines of controlled origin - Picpoul de Pinet, Grès de Montpellier and Vin des Pays des Coteaux de Bessilles - which can be tasted free of charge at the cellar, as well as hiking trails, inspired by the beauty of the garrigue landscapes and lush Mediterranean nature. Along the route, the works of artists-sculptors from Hérault, such as Kay Vygen, Bruno Mendola, Ben Truscott (Le Bacchus) and Jean-Pierre Giraud, have been displayed, thus highlighting the work of local men. The walks are open to all. Hikers will be well advised to bring good shoes, a bottle of water and a hat! The walk with commentary by a master winegrower is a rare moment of encounter, of beauty of the areas covered and of understanding the notion of terroir. It takes place during the week and must be booked for a minimum of 12 people. Free commented tasting on arrival.
