A 20-hectare estate offering a top-of-the-range service in fifteen modern and contemporary decorated rooms.
Named after the neighbouring pond, this impressive 20-hectare estate overflows with charm and character. Hidden partly behind a wall of pine trees and vines, the house seems to be ideal for a peaceful and intimate stay. It is with this objective in mind that the owners have fitted out their six gîtes within this stone and wood décor. Rather than increasing their capacity, they decided to create spaces ranging from 90 to 160 m². All in all, they offer a top-of-the-range offer in 15 modern and contemporarily decorated rooms. They all have a shaded terrace and an independent entrance, perfect for maintaining independence and privacy. Outside, they have also laid out a Mediterranean garden, integrated a first heated swimming pool with an area for children, then a second one to guarantee the tranquillity of the older children, as well as a whirlpool bath. Finally, the guests of the estate will have the pleasure of discovering the chef's cuisine, which is reserved for them and is based on seasonal products, mainly local and organic. These dinners can be eaten in the assigned room, on the terrace or delivered directly to the accommodation.

Tout est parfait : de l'arrangement des différents gites, aux services proposés tout au long de la semaine (apéro inclus !), tout est organisé sans fausse note.
Dans le détail :
- L'accueil est excellent
- Le kids club et les activités pour les enfants sont professionnelles, nombreuses et très bien organisées
- les diners inclus sont copieux, familiaux et excellents
- Vous êtes un invité (dans une un microcosme de quelques familles) dont les préférences individuelles sont prises en compte (on est loin du tourisme de masse)
Le Mas de Thau est non seulement un endroit que je recommanderais, mais dans lequel j'envisage de retourner sans hésitation !
- l'équipe du club enfants. Ils sont extrêmement gentils et professionnels. Les enfants les adorent.
Nous n'avons pas aimé :
- le manque de ménage (voir photo d'une tasse pleine de mégots de cigarettes retrouvée sur notre terrasse le jour de notre arrivée… elle n'a jamais été enlevée… les prochains invités la retrouveront probablement en arrivant).
- le mauvais entretien de nombreuses infrastructures (voir photos).
- l'absence de baignoire pour les enfants
- le fait que le petit déjeuner et le dîner soient servis trop tard pour les enfants (8h et 20h).
Dans l'ensemble, les enfants étaient contents mais pas moi car je trouve que ce n'est pas un bon rapport qualité/prix : quand on paie plus de 5 000 pour une semaine, on s'attend à un entretien, un ménage, etc. de premier ordre. Pour moi, le club pour enfants est le meilleur. ça change la donne mais le reste est juste très moyen.

We liked :
- the team at the kids club. They are extremely kind and professional. The kids love them.
We disliked :
- the lack of cleaning (see picture of a cup full of cigarette buds found on our terrace the day of our arrival… it was never removed… the next guests will probably find it when they get there).
- the poor maintenance of many infrastructures (see pictures).
- the lack of bathtub for kids
- the fact breakfast and dinner are served too late for kids (8am and 8pm).
Overall the kids were happy but I wasn’t as I feel this is not good value for money : when you pay north of 5 000 for a week, you would expect top notch maintenance, cleaning, etc. To me the kids club is the game changer but the rest is just very average.
