One of the best-preserved feudal châteaux buildings in Margon, with attractive perron, terraces and double staircase
Flanked by three massive towers, Château de Margon is one of the best-preserved buildings in the département. Already mentioned in 1080, it was extensively altered during the Renaissance, while retaining its majestic character. A vast park, created by filling in a valley floor, surrounds the château and has been restored for over forty years, as has the building itself. Don't miss the beautiful staircase, several superimposed terraces and a magnificent double staircase. This place steeped in history is enhanced by the care taken to preserve it over the decades.
