ST. CECILIA'S CHURCH

Built during the ^14th century, this parish church is in the Languedoc Gothic style. Its external aspect has the austerity of a fortress. The interior, however, contains a splendid nave. Its installation away from the village is due to the fact that a religious site already existed at this place since Antiquity (paleochristian church). It can also be explained by the presence of the Cami Romieu, a pilgrimage route that made the town a stopover for travelers, who found a sick bay and several inns there.
