According to local legend, this enchanting spot was the scene of a dispute between the Wind and the Fog over the sovereignty of the Plateau du Somail, until Satan could sort them out. The surrounding area can be explored on foot or by bike, thanks to a marked 6 km trail that circles the lake. Despite its wilderness ambience, the site offers practical facilities, including picnic areas, for families to enjoy.
