DIO CASTLE

Nestled on the red earth mountains of the Haut-Languedoc, the castle of Dio is unique. Its specificity lies in the fact that it is one of the few buildings from the Middle Ages that has survived the passage of time without any profound changes to its exterior architecture. This preservation is the work of Bertrand, the owner of the place. On site, he offers educational visits, hosts events (classical concerts, medieval festivals ...) and makes three gites available to travelers. Enough to live the life of a castle!
