Through lands conducive to the growth of a very varied flora comparable to that of the Corsican maquis, this relaxing walk crosses the slopes of Saint-Chinian north of Cessenon. In 1958, an experimental plantation of a dozen species of eucalyptus over an area of 14 ha replaced the maquis. In 1984, all the eucalyptus trees froze. Sprouts then formed a forest coppice next to 25 ha of maritime pines.
