Wine estates Beziers

This family estate, located on the banks of the Orb, is an exceptional winegrowing property. For six generations, the Viennet family has been perpetuating the winegrowing tradition, and since 2006 has been focusing on wine tourism. The estate covers 60 hectares and produces a range of 12 wines, aged in a magnificent cellar carved out of the rock. The estate also hosts sculpture and painting exhibitions, and has five guest rooms in the château, surrounded by English parkland. The cellars can be visited by telephone reservation.

This is an important address to the wholesale market. The choice of wines from all over France is really impressive! Also available, a beautiful selection of regional wines directly from the owners that Mr. Gimenez dug for you, in true love of the divine nectar. In large or in detail, more than 800 wines are available. For his professionalism, restaurateurs and used staff, he has been visiting this reference address since 1965. What more can be said? Jean-Pascal Pelagatti, a young winegrower based in Béziers, produces white, rosé and red wines on his 24-hectare family estate. Using integrated farming methods, he produces mainly IGP Oc and IGP Coteaux de Béziers. The wines are fine and well-balanced, especially the reds. The vineyard, certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale), attracts quality wine lovers. It's a "coup de coeur" in the Guide Hachette des vins 2020. The welcome is excellent, and the advice is very pertinent.

Domaine de la Barthe, in the Eychenne family since the early ^20th century, was taken over by Yves and Viera in the 1960s. It offers fine, controlled wines, gorged with the sun of the garrigue and born of clay-limestone soils typical of the region. Their diversified vineyards (Merlot, Grenache, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Muscat d'Alexandrie...) stretch along the slopes of the Canal du Midi, offering a broad palette of aromas. The Métamorphose and Eurythmie cuvées have won awards at the Languedoc Grand Vin competitions.
