LE PETIT BÉRET

Didier Laporte is the conductor of this little revolution: an alcohol-free beverage, which has the taste of wine and its characteristics. With this Petit Béret, the best sommelier in France in 2004 bottled an idea from Fathi and Rachid Benni, two brothers of the Muslim faith, who dreamed of drinking from glasses on foot at the aperitif. Between the three of them, they produce this natural grape-based drink in Béziers, without alcohol or a de-alcoholisation stage, but also without fermentation, preservatives or sulphites. The fine team goes to market in the Roussillon vineyards, where it selects the best indigenous grape varieties, to produce wines in short circuits of all colours: red, white, rosé, and fine bubbles - including a moscato d'acqui as sweet as it is sparkling. Le Petit Béret non-alcoholic wines have thus received a favourable welcome from all those who are deprived of this convivial pleasure for religious, health and safety reasons: pregnant women, sportsmen and women, people undergoing medical treatment incompatible with alcohol consumption, not to mention those who should take the wheel following an aperitif or a watered meal.
