CHÂTEAU DE RAISSAC
This family estate, located on the banks of the Orb, is an exceptional winegrowing property. For six generations, the Viennet family has been perpetuating the winegrowing tradition, and since 2006 has been focusing on wine tourism. The estate covers 60 hectares and produces a range of 12 wines, aged in a magnificent cellar carved out of the rock. The estate also hosts sculpture and painting exhibitions, and has five guest rooms in the château, surrounded by English parkland. The cellars can be visited by telephone reservation.

We had a wonderful stay with excellent service and food in exceptional environment at Chateau de Raissac. I really can recommend this accommodation both for bigger events as well as for shorter stays.

Eerily beautiful manor in the French countryside. While the rooms were large and comfortable and the pool was fantastic, we encountered many disappointments that left all of us with a bad taste in our mouths. First, we looked specifically for a facility that included air conditioning and wifi. This was clearly indicated on their website. However, when we arrived, we were told that the air conditioning had been turned off and to just open the windows at night. Keep in mind that it is 30c during the day and, because you're out on the country, mosquitoes are surprisingly a big problem (and there are no window screens in Europe). As such, we could not open our windows and didn't sleep properly for the 3 nights. Management wasn't bothered. We were also told that there would be wifi in the room and there simply wasn't. Management wasn't bothered. The last disappointment came when we checked out. What we were led to believe was a complimentary light dinner the night we arrived (omelette, savour pastry and ball of ice cream) turned out to be a 40 euro charge for each person. We were shocked. Despite the beauty of the place and it's unique offerings, I would not recommend this manor.
