THE CASTLE

The castle, dated in the eleventh century, offers visitors its ruins. You will discover on-site fortifications always standing, as well as part of the dungeon and the old chapel, both of Romanesque architecture. The Saint-Sauveur church is the castral church of Aumelas Castle since the xiiith century, always intact. The last part of the road to the castle has been set up as a botanical trail composed of Mediterranean essences.
