An opportunity to go in search of the remnants of the German fortifications of the Second World War in Agde.
This fascinating and educational visit, accompanied by experts from the Agde Histoire 39-45 association, is based around a bunker of approximately 100 m². Remnant of the German fortifications of the Second World War, it was part of the complex nicknamed the Mediterranean Wall, its purpose was to stop the landing of the Allies. This witness of the war, also a field hospital, reveals many things during his visit. Restored with patience and respect by the volunteers of the association, it welcomes visitors every Saturday morning and presents the history of La Tamarissiere and Agde through the prism of the Second World War. A very instructive visit.
