CLUB DE PLANEUR AVIGNON-PUJAUT
Located just a few minutes from the city centre of Avignon, the Pujaut Airfield - one of the oldest in France - has a land of 100 hectares with three tracks, two of which are more than 1 000 metres long and a cliff of 4 km long for slope flight. An ideal playground to start its initiation to the glider. The Avignon-Pujaut Glider club has a large and secure fleet. Supported by qualified pilots and state graduates, you can experience your first flight sensations while hovering over the magnificent landscape of Avignon, the Pont du Gard and the Cevennes. From the age of 14, the most for have the opportunity to integrate the pilot school centre and pass their pilot glider (obtained from 16 years old). After 20 hours of instruction on the training of the glider piloting (straight-line flight, turning…), on flight control (orientation, safety rules…) and over off and landings, you can install yourself on the orders.
