Pujaut is located on the right bank of the Rhône, it is said that this village is a walk between Provence and Languedoc. Having belonged for many centuries to the bishops of Avignon, Pujaut is an ancient pond that was dried up by the Carthusian monks in the 17th century, which doubled the area of cultivable land. Thus, the miserable sinners became farmers. After hemp and madder, the favour went to fruit trees and vineyards. Stop at the church of the XIV with its 2 bell towers. The high altar is in very rare green marble, the center communion table in red marble. Two magnificent wash houses, the one of the castle and the one of the 4 pipes.
