A fine sandy beach at Grau-du-Roi, on the edge of the Petite Camargue, one of the wildest and most beautiful in the Mediterranean.
This fine-sand beach, on the edge of the Petite Camargue, forms the end of an immense sandbar. It's part of the Grand Site de la Camargue gardoise. This paradise is one of the wildest and most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean. But be warned, you'll have to cross a hundred meters of dunes before you can claim the 10 km of fine sand that runs alongside the sea. To the west of the shore, you'll reach the area reserved for naturists. It's a good idea to pack a mosquito repellent in your bag, especially if you'll be laying your towel near the dunes.

Very nice beach of fine sand, even in winter when it is good to walk there.
Beautiful beach but parking is now from €6... Another drawback: the crossing of the dunes also passes through the clouds voracious mosquitoes... Nothing to forget in the car once placed only dates back to leave!
