Domaine Challias is located on the sunny southern slopes and the subsoil is composed of clay-limestone soil with schists and fire-stones that give the wines a very specific character. For three generations of winegrowers, bottling has been carried out at the estate in the purest family tradition. The wines are made from carefully chosen grape varieties (Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault) for wines that gradually develop their bouquet. This traditional vinification leads to high class reds, with a bouquet, colourful, natural and generous with notes of natural and generous spices, while the whites are very floral thanks to the blend of clairette, grenache and bourboulenc grape varieties. What could be more natural that they are rewarded in Paris and Orange!

For six generations the same family has occupied this wine estate in the Cèze valley. The Castor family produces its own grapes and makes its own wines on 150 hectares. Grenache (red and white), syrah, carignan, mourvèdre, cinsault, tempranillo, roussanne, chardonnay, viognier, and Ugni blanc are the different grape varieties used here.
