As part of the 113 national road, Codognan nevertheless managed to preserve a certain identity and quality of life, which probably came from its position of door to the Petite Camargue and the beaches, for the Nîmois and all the inhabitants of the Vaunage. Like most villages in the region, Codognan has a small but very beautiful old centre that deserves a stop.
