Bruno Pellegrini, an oenologist by training and a winemaker at heart, has successfully restructured his estate: rigorous selection of new grape varieties, control of production, and a respectful approach to the environment. Today, his daughter Ophélie and son-in-law Xavier are carrying on the family tradition. As a result, after decades of hard work, these wines from the La Clape terroir are exported all over the world. Low season: open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 12:30pm and 2pm to 6pm. High season: daily from 10am to 7pm. Tours of the estate on request in low season and on Thursdays at 6pm in high season. In 1990, Bruno Pellegrini, a trained oenologist originally from the Italian Tyrol, took over the estate and created a range of Languedoc wines reflecting terroir, passion and personality!
In this 36-hectare vineyard, where garrigues, limestone, wind, sun and sea spray from our beloved Mediterranean Sea mingle, a rigorous selection of clones and grape varieties, as well as strict control of production, have been implemented to restore the Languedoc's reputation.
Château Ricardelle offers a range of great Languedoc wines, many of which have won medals in international competitions, as well as bed & breakfast accommodation close to Narbonne and the first beaches of Gruissan, in a peaceful setting steeped in legend. Connoisseurs and visitors alike will appreciate this stay punctuated by a host of activities: tasting the great wines of the southern terroirs, sensational hikes, visits to the winery, charming gîtes...
